Grownups 2 Review

Recently we saw Grownups 2 at the movies. It was a great movie and kept us laughing the entire time. Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, and Kevin Spade were hysterical, and there were also lesser-known actors whose parts added a lot to the movie. Teenage girls will love this movie because Taylor Laughtner has some scenes. He wasn't shirtless though which was both a surprise and a disappointment. I'm sure the movie would have earned more money that way.
The rating of PG-13 is good because there were some inappropriate scenes but nothing was bad enough to qualify as R-rated. There wasn't an overuse of crude humor which was really nice. It was a refreshing change from the usual sexual references and obsenities. The overall acting was great and even down to the hilarious 2 year old the parts were definetly given to the right actors. The sequel to Grownups definitely lived up to its predecessor and was well thought out and planned. It was a movie we would both see again.

The First Time we Met

This is the story of how we first met from our different perspectives.

We first met at a hockey practice. It was my first practice at a different organization and my first time playing on a girls team (that season was also my last). I walked in to a locker room full of girls who all knew each other and hung out together. At first everybody was shy and nice. Angie was sitting right near the door and I sat next to her. She's a goody goody so she is always the first one dressed and on the ice and likes to sit by the door. I thought she was so pretty and would be rude and not want to be my friend so we didn't talk a lot. That's really all I  remember about that day but I'm sure Angie could write a whole essay about it.

It was at one of the first hockey practices of the season and we were in the locker room getting dressed. I knew all of my other team mates and we were just hanging out getting ready for practice. Then all of a sudden this lady walks in with a gigantic smile (Maddy's mom) and a girl and her mom said hi everyone this is my daughter, Maddy. Then we all stopped talking and Maddy looked really shy. She sat next to me on the bench and started getting ready for practice. We were sort of talking and asking about how old we were and where did we live and stuff like that. We didn't really talk to each other for the rest of the year until after the season ended but then we became really good friends and eventually BFFs!!
